Charlotte County
has all the conveniences of the national chain restaurants and
retail stores (Circuit City, Home Depot, Sport Authority,
Michaels, TGI Friday's, Appleby's and may more) with the quaint
small town local shopping and dining. Also enjoy the
large mall at the town center.
FISHING

Charlotte offers
some amazing fishing! I tell everyone to turn on ESPN
Saturday morning and you will likely see them fishing in
Charlotte Harbor. Boca Grande offers some of the best
tarpon fishing in the world. For the novice and master
angler, area waters area a treat. Charter boats will
take fisherman out into the Gulf of Mexico where grouper,
mackerel, snapper or tarpon are plentiful. In the passes,
off bridges, in coves or in Lemon Bay, one can catch trout,
sheepshead or snook.
WILDLIFE

We took
this picture three miles offshore. There were
hundreds of dolphin playing in the
water.

SPORTS

Tampa Bay Rays
signed a 20 year lease for Spring Training at the Charlotte
County Stadium after a $27.2 million dollar
renovation.
